Right on Millwall Dock, my lovely 1 bedroom apartment, has great views, and is ideally located for all that London has to offer, minus the noise. Situated on the ground floor the apartment has a small balcony where you can sit and watch the lights of Canary Wharf, the rowers practicing for the dragon boat races, the sailers enjoying the water or just life passing by. The small kitchen has a family size fridge freezer, washing machine and small dining table and chairs. The lounge is open plan and has all the mod cons, as well as the amazing view. (A double mattress is available to pull out into the lounge if there are more than 2 of you. The bedroom has a kingsized bed and is across the hall from the bathroom.

Docklands (Isle of Dogs) is surrounded by the Thames and this apartment is on one of the old Docksides (which have all been revitalised in the last 20 years). It has great access to Transport, with 3 buses less than 2 minutes walk, the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) 7 minutes walk and Canary Wharf Jubilee Line about 15 minutes walk.away. There are also bicycles that you can hire around the corner. Plus if you actually want to use the Thames there is the Catamaran Service about 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Apart from looking onto the new financial capital of London, the Docklands, host many parks, and if you walk 10 minutes from the front door you come to London City Farm (Mudchute), where you can even book a riding lesson. There is a huge Supermarket (Asda 24 hours) a 10 minute walk away or 5 minutes on the bus, and Canary Wharf has restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls etc and that is all without heading into the West End of London.

For those interested in the Olympics, this is an ideal location, being only 4 stops on the Jubilee Line or again direct on the DLR to the Olympic Stadium. For those interested in other events, you can walk to the horse events in Greenwich park (through the foottunnel under the Thames) or easily access the shooting and other events in Woolwich on the DLR.

However the area itself is residentual and quite so when you get home you can relax, and enjoy the view, or walk to the nearest pub and enjoy a pint.
